We, that's Dolf and Jenny Bieker
We live with our three children (born 2010, 2012 and 2015), the dogs, our two horses, Sim the Bengal cat and our three guines pigs in Lohmar, in the neighbourhood of large fields and forests.
We introduce ourselves
In 1976, the first Rhodesian Ridgeback 'Simba' came from Africa to the Bieker's house. For professional reasons, my father-in-law was living in Rhodesia. In Bulawayo lived my mother-in-law, where the two sons, Dolf and Karl were born.
Simba was then chosen by Mrs. Margaret Wallace of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club - The Parent Club as a worthy representative of his breed to make the breed known and popular in Germany.
I grew up with horses and dogs and Simba was the childhood dog of my husband. It quickly became clear that our children should also grow up with a Rhodesian Ridgeback.
